As Atlantic squalls alternate with days of dazzling sunshine, you can enjoy walks along white-sand beaches that lie a two-minute walk from the Shore House.

Should the wind get too strong, you can retreat to the cafes of the village, or visit nearby Simon’s Town, with its long naval history.

Or simply return to the Shore House, from where you can watch and listen to crash of the waves. When the sun goes down, a wood-burning fireplace is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine.
